Internet Marketing – Banner Advertising

When it comes to Internet Marketing there are a lot of different ways to make a visual impact. The mos common one is probably banner advertising. Many agencies today offer both banner design (assuming they have a creative department with graphical designers) and banner advertisement spots on various websites.

When consulting an internet marketing agency usually two opportunities come up: single sites or network advertising. The latter is a way of clustering over a wide range of websites and oftentimes saves money by making it possible to get exposure on large sites for less than standard rates.

However, advertising on a single site is a very good strategy if you want to reach a specific audience. But this can also be done by network advertising on so called “channels”. These channels are categories where different type of sites are included. Channels can be e.g. “Business”, “Sports”, “News”, “Fashion” and so on.

Banner advertising is a great way of making a visual impact and is one of the most common ways of doing online marketing today.
